Down-Sized
What is special about down-sizing
is that there are less walls,
or are they smaller?
And also the ceilings, like in that old horror story,
really seem lower, and are getting lower by the minute,
and it actually appears
that all those pictures, once sparse,
less noticeable,
have multiplied,
or gotten larger.
It’s really all relative, I guess.
My cerebral hemispheres
may have atrophied,
and the whole world
looks enormous.
